That's perfectly okay, and actually quite common. Flathead Sports Collective was created with all activity levels in mind, from those who love competitive sports to those who simply enjoy trying new things and spending time with friends. Our focus is on participation, confidence-building, teamwork, and having fun.
-
There are no contracts. Enrollment payments are recurring monthly which reserves your child’s spot in class each week. If something changes please provide 7 days notice prior to your next billing to unenroll from the class and stop the billing cycle.
-
Each 90-min class is based on our developmental framework: Connect - Activate - Build - Play - Reflect. The class is not an open gym, just “shooting hoops”, or free play. Each class is let by a trained coach to support all levels of skill and help them grow based on their unique goals. Review the full framework in the diagram lower on this page.

You’re welcome to do either. Feel free to go run some errands while your child is in a coach instructed class, or stay in our mezzanine area with tables, chairs, outlets, and little kid play area.
Our 90-minute sessions aren’t open gym and they aren’t high-pressure training. They’re intentionally designed to support brain + body development through movement, team games, and play.
Every session follows the same developmental framework:
CONNECT → ACTIVATE → BUILD → PLAY → REFLECT
Kids begin by connecting with the group and themselves. From there, we work on agility and coordination, build sport-specific skills at the right level of challenge for each child, put those skills into action through game play, and finish by reflecting on what they learned and experienced.
Along the way, we’re developing much more than just sport skills. They are improving:
• Coordination and body awareness
• Confidence and resilience
• Decision-making and social IQ
• Teamwork and communication
• Adaptability and sportsmanship
• Self-awareness and regulation
Structured without pressure. Brain + Body Development through a framework that’s fun.
A consistent place for kids to play, practice, and connect year-round!
